5Te Linear Cable Engines - 1993
AmClyde Norson supplied AT&T with a Linear Cable Engine System suitable for laying Fibre Optic or Power Cables at speeds of up to 9 knots. The system was capable of passing the Mid-Line Joint at the maximum lay speed.
This equipment was an innovative design and was the first of its type to enter the market.
