The pipelay system onboard the Skandi Navica, operated by Subsea 7, was upgraded to lay rigid pipe at up to 205Te line tension. In addition the ship's A&R winch capacity was increased to 250Te line tension.
System components upgraded included the Ramp Structure, Tensioner, Clamp, Fleeting System and Jacking System.
In addition installation of a new Stinger and Buoy Handling System were also carried out.
