We are currently looking for: -

• Experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer/s (1 possibly 2 Positions)
• Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

Experienced Hydraulics Design Engineers
We are currently seeking Experienced Hydraulic Design Engineers to: -

• be involved in all aspects of Hydraulic design, including concept and design schemes; and there Integration into the main mechanical design.
• To produce and manage the production of, appropriate, robust, reliable operable, maintainable and cost effective hydraulic designs and then either produce Autocad drawings yourself or direct a draughtsperson to do so. AutoCad would be an advantage.
• To ensure that your designs are delivered to agreed schedules and budgets. 
• To ensure that activities undertaken are in accordance with H&S Legislation and accepted Industry Practices. 
• To ensure that all outputs are in accordance with the QA system, i.e. checked and verified calculations, drawings, reports and specifications. 
• To undertake resource planning for projected workloads. 
• To provide specialist input into bid work undertaken by the company.
• Work closely with subcontract manufacturers, guide and assist in the technical aspects of the fabrication of our equipment, be involved in the build process and factory testing right through to installation and commissioning.
• Travel is also a limited part of this job to support site activities but you will be mainly based in Coatbridge.

Requirements:
Candidate would preferably have a minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Marine/Offshore Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 to 5 years of Design experience in the Oil and Gas Industry sector. Experience will also be considered in the absence of a degree

Experienced Mechanical Design Engineers
We are currently seeking Experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to: -

• be involved in all aspects of mechanical design, including concept and design schemes; structural analysis using Patran, Cosmos and Strand 7; design calculations by hand and via MathCad; component design using SolidWorks and AutoCad.
• lead the production of manufacturing drawings, sometimes with the assistance of draughters and modelers.
• work closely with subcontract manufacturers, guide and assist in the technical aspects of the fabrication of our equipment, be involved in the build process and factory testing right through to installation and commissioning.

Requirements:
Candidate would preferably have a minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Marine/Offshore Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 to 5 years of Design experience in the Oil and Gas Industry sector. Experience will also be considered in the absence of a degree.
