Who are AmClyde Norson Engineering?

  • Formed as Norson Power in 1974
  • Became the Norson Group after a management buy-out in 1996, forming Norson Engineering in Glasgow & Norson Services in Aberdeen & Rosyth.
  • AmClyde purchased Norson Engineering in December 2000
  • Hydralift purchased AmClyde in April 2002
  • National Oilwell purchased Hydralift in November 2002
  • National Oiwell Merged with Varco in March 2005

AmClyde Norson Engineering over the past 15 years have been involved in the Design, Manufacture, Installation, Commissioning & Testing of the following equipment:
  • Lay Systems for Rigid Pipe, Flexible Flowlines & Umbilicals
